-ABLE: 35 Strategies for Increasing the Probability of Success in Business and in Life

Recently NameTag Scott came up with a great challenge.  Since I love him, his work and reading great material ( I have read over 50 books this past year) I chose to play this game with him) <<CLICK that picture and buy his book.

The challenge was to create my own word ending in “able” that was my secret for increasing the probability of success.  Immediately I thought that’s easy Decision-able.

I had just seen the final draft of my first book with Shane Mac and several other awesome beings “If I Would Have Known Just One Thing” You can get your copy here DOWNLOAD YOURS NOW.(active August 19, I promised to not release early)

My ONE thing was Decisions.

So if I was any kind of authentic business woman this translated straight into Scott’s request and I was delighted.

How are you Decision-able? Do you waver, do you hesitate, do you weigh all the pros and cons, do you immobilize yourself thinking you have to make the “Right” decision.

You are holding yourself back and you are NOT Decision-able.

First, lets get very clear what does it mean to be decision-able.

Being to make a fast, quick and accurate decision is paramount to your success in life and business.  Being decision-able MEANS you look, assess and take action with rapid velocity.

Many times for people to be able to wrap their brains around what something means,  it helps them to look at what it DOES NOT mean (I know, it seems weird yet it is our limiting beliefs that are being challenged here and that’s a good thing)

Decision-able DOES NOT mean :

  • making a Ben Franklin list (that pros and cons thing PLEEZE)
  • asking your best friend
  • asking your Mother (SIGH)
  • thinking about it for days, weeks and months
  • wondering about all the things that could happen (growing it into something it is NOT)
  • being linear

BEing Decision-able is about:

  1. growing your decision muscles so they operate at lightening speed
  2. starting with small decisions to build your confidence and accuracy
  3. looking for who makes successful decisions
  4. recognizing that you can adjust when one decision does not get the you the results you want
  5. making faster decisions gets you there quicker and wiser

WHY does BEing Decision-able serve you?

Simple and easy…

One Woman Who is Decision-able

One Woman Who is Decision-able

Legendary successes have come from fast decision makers, they were decision-able.

  • Richard Branson
  • Estee Lauder
  • Steve Jobs
  • Henry Ford
  • Sam Walton
  • Oprah

Whether you like them or agree with all their decisions is not the point!  As a matter of fact, did you realize that is a limiting belief on your part to hold you back? Do you want success?  Do you believe you can create it on your own terms?  Do you argue for your weaknesses? (that one is a whole other post)

Decision-able

Being Decision-able NOW

What will you do NEXT?  It is Decision-able time.

Will you hhmpppff and scoff and blow yourself off?
Will you go seek counsel from someone else?
OR
Will you take back your own power and BE Decision-able?
