Yes this is a rant, if you do not like it change the channel, this is my blog.

Are you a Twitter Litterer?

What is that? Simple you tweet like this…

Why is this not helpful, valuable or beneficial?

Great question.

In a time when folks have expressed so clearly they do not want to be treated like a number, they want to be appreciated for their individual uniqueness, and like it or not it shows a lack of willingness to make meaningful connections.

One of my favorite online tribes #usguys are notorious for this behavior in the morning and it annoys the hell out of me.  I have even tried to “get along with everyone” by RT these lazy attempts to talk with everyone at once – so folks would not accuse me of not getting along.

I can no longer hold my tongue.

STOP being LAZY

I am not even blurring covering up this guys face.  This is ridiculous, seriously.

What the H%%% where you thinking dude?

If you are the same folks who tweet about how being on twitter is about having meaningful connections and quality is better than quantity, then how are you staying true to your own measuring stick?  I can love ya and still tell you when you have no clothes on.

Instead of throwing mass amounts of @bob @sue @sallymae @tommyjean @billybob @johnboy in your tweets, walk your talk and talk to one , two no more than three.

Do you really have meaningful conversation when there are no words and all @@@@@@@@@@@@@@?

Do you really connect when it’s like a cluster %^& of @@@@@@@@@@@@@?

Do you really make me feel special when I am in a line with a sailor banging a bunch of @@@@@@@@@@?

STOP being lazy, cheap and yucky.

Ok, yeah I got a little graphic, you needed a  pattern interrupt ( as Tony Robbins calls it)

    Well said.  If the point is to make connections why not take a moment to make it at least seem like you are interested in the person you are thanking.  Some people just read they need to thank their new followers and do it as quickly and efficiently as possible without regard for the damage they cause.I also have lower esteem for those who do not use their real face (other than corporate accounts like 3-m, sobeys, etc.) for an avatar.So not to be one of those, I took some time to read a few of your posts.  I like the way you write. I have no red kite moments but I also feel I do not need courage.  Courage is only required to face things you fear.  Since I am fearless (in business at least) I do not need courage.But how does Janet know your name is Michele?  I did not find your name on ABOUT or anywhere else I looked.  Perhaps you are anonymous or you are several people.

    Guy, thanks for sharing your thoughts.  Janet knows my name because it is on my profile on twitter and yes it is in the about, maybe not as prominent as others blogs.  Guess I have never been one to putting my name everywhere and point taken.  My Avatar was a beautiful drawing one of my colleagues made as my logo of me, it depicts everything I am about.  Being open (notice the open handed position), positive mindset (with the smile), full of energy ( the spiral behind me).

    We Bought a Zoo had me thinking about two other blog posts from their story line.  I hope you will read them as well.
